What's Been Going On

The Team for CF Xtra led the holiday club for us and what a brilliant 2 days those were. Everything went well for us, the weather, saftey with staff and children. Thanks to all who helped with meals etc.

The influence Cf-Xtra had on the church was remarkable and they are an excellent team. Dedicated to youth.

During 2014 we won the Child Friendly, award and this was a real boost to the fellowship

The Tuesday Club was started in the Spring of 2014.

This is geared toward the young people of the church and is proving to be very popular.

A few of the kids who attend the club have no church connections.

We begin the evening with some games and after a short break, we give them some refreshments. During this time they watch a 10 Min DVD of a Bible story after which we settle them into a craft session. If the weather is favourable we take the kids outside for some activities.

We were proud to host the Sanquhar Riding of the Marches Songs of Praise Service again this year.

It is really special for us to be associated with this event and exciting to know that this is how the week of events commences.

The various Outreach Events continue and the pictures illustrated were taken at a soup lunch.

These events are invaluable for bringing people together and everyone looks forward to a light lunch and a natter.

We are looking to expand this work.

The style of event varies

We love to involve the children in a morning service for it allows them to feel part of church life. One of the ways we do this is by allowing them to uplift the offering.
We take part with St Brides Church in the Remembrance day Service. For a many years we have joined others in the laying of a wreath on this special day before joining the parade as we march to the service in St Brides Church.

Two people joined the church recently and the service was conducted by Rev Jim Smith from Saltcoats.

Eric Burnett & Barbara Ewer join the church Sunday 6th December 2015

Day of the Region celebrations are becoming popular, and here we had a joint service with St Brides. The Classic Car Club was there also and with the weather in our favour what more could you ask!

It is good when Churches work together.

Hayley & Kenny's Wedding in August was a fantastic experience. Such a lovely couple and we wish them every happiness as they begin their new life together.
Always exciting when people wish to join the church and be part of our fellowship
